Egg roll in a bowl

When you’re looking for a quick, healthy meal to put on the table in record time, this egg roll in a bowl is a sure win!


Directions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain any fat and add in the garlic and saute for 30 seconds.

  2. Add in fresh ginger, hot sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and green onions. Cook for 1-2 minutes until all ingredients are fragrant and incorporated well.

  3. Add in coleslaw and sautee until cabbage is tender.

  4. If you are using the chili sauce, add in to meat mixture and mix well. You can also keep it on the side and add to each dish as you desire.

  5. Top with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground beef

  • 1/2 cup red onion

  • 5 cloves garlic

  • 1 tsp freish ginger (1/2 tsp ground)

  • 1 Tbs hot sauce

  • 3 Tbs soy sauce

  • 1 Tbs rice wine vinegar

  • 2 Tbs sesame oil

  • 6 green onions

  • 14oz. bag cole slaw mix

    Chili Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayo

  • 1 Tbs hot sauce

    Garnish:

  • Sesame seeds

  • Green onions
